Timmy came in to The Kitten Cottage with his mom and two brothers. The little guy had a clubfoot (a deformity from birth) so had difficulty moving around. We took him to the vet who X-rayed him and discovered that he was missing a bone, which made it impossible for us to use a brace to try and manage the clubfoot. We seemed without options at this point, so just decided to let him be and take the best care of him possible.

Timmy surprised all of us, and became more and more comfortable with his foot, managing to use it and play like the other kittens. Despite his disability, he continued to grow and become one of the most playful – and inspirational – little guys we’ve ever known.

Timmy is now living with a super family from Somerset West who have built him a safe cattery in their garden, where he can frolic and play in total safety. Both his brothers (Buddha and Kanga) were also homed, but his mom still lives at The Kitten Cottage. Click here if you’d like to find out how you can adopt Timmy’s mom.
